Dear Life,

On Friday, I met up with Victoria.
Gifted writer for the Chronicle and a rare talent.

She is true to the art of writing.
Very rarely do you find someone so dedicated to her craft, a true evangelist.

While she is exposed to many spectacular chefs especially at high end restaurants, I can’t help to pause, just inhale for a second.

Often times in the food world, I can easily be immersed into that world, the culture. With the vast knowledge I have about food, from the seed to fruit, from packaging to distributing, that I may too, one day lose site of the simplicity of a good meal.

Yesterday, I was at Slow Food Nation. Not surprisingly, I was one of the few Asian guys.
I counted. I did not go past 8.

While I believe in eating healthy, I get annoyed when people impose their cause on others.
After being a counselor to ubran kids, it is obvious that some people are simply not exposed or encouraged to buy organic or eat healthy.

Long story short, !@#! food snobs but a hand to those who simply enjoy a dam meal with good friends.
