Today, is April 1st. Also known as April Fool’s Day.
More importantly, today is my parent’s anniversary.
I’m curious.
What does that say about my father, marrying a beautiful bride on April 1st in Hong Kong.
What I have learned? Never insult.
Recently, I learned that there are lots of idiots out there.
I see them everywhere. Idiots are not stupid, they just behave in foolish ways.
For instance, yesterday I went to YMCA hot tub.
Three loud Chinese ladies just made my visit sound like I was in the middle of a Chinese market.
Later, I spoke to the chief heckler.
Rayfil: “I can tell you’re from Hong Kong, you tone is very high pitched and loud. You’re very loud. You seem nice, but being loud, you’re annoying us and appear to be a market street bitch but your probably really nice.”
Loud Lady: “I’m so sorry. My kids tell me I am loud. I guess just didn’t realize it.”
Lesson learned. Start by a compliment. I told her she appears nice but just has no manner in a diplomatic way.
If you want something to get done, be strategic and diplomatic.
Yelling are for people who can’t think out of the box.
