Friends are hard to find + hard to define.
So I’ll be brief, accurate, + simple.
Friends are people who REPLY.
Last week, my portable hard drive case broke. I sent out an email to Orlando Leon, Dave Yang, Nick Leung and they all replied. They replied with great answers, suggesting that I simply buy a new case. They are remarkable, they answered an email with Next Steps.
Making them, HELPFUL RELIABLE FRIENDS.
In the world of social media, we have Facebook friends + plenty of acquaintances. So that is my new definition,
Friends = people who reply + likely to throw you a life preserver when drowning
