Food Photos: taking good photos

This past Saturday, I attended a class on photography atWolf, a local camera store. Photography translates to “light writer.” I learned more about the how lighting plays a major role.

The class prepared me to take better food photos. Both picture (a.) + (b.) were taken at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Forrest buffet. The prime rib (a.) lacked light and as a result, a poor quality photo. The spinach salad (b.) had a light above the dish and was taken in macro mode.
