Playing center stage in a carnivore’s paradise, steak is essential. Chared meat and garlic mash potatoes make up a great comfort food meal. About a year ago, I was doubtful about ordering Omaha Steaks packaged in a frozen packet.
I ordered a full meal with hamburgers and steaks. Surprisingly, the steaks were delicious. They are vacuum sealed so it was so convenient just to open and toss it on the grill. Dressing the meat, I enjoyed an Asian Fusion sauce.
Asian Fusion Sauce
½ cup diced mushrooms
1 clove garlic
¼ cup chopped ginger
1 table spoon corn starch
8 oz of beef broth
Sea Salt
Fresh grind pepper
Heat sauce pan. Turn on stove on high and reduce the beef broth. Next, stir in 1 table spoon of corn starch. This acts as a thickener. Once reduced to gravy like consistency, add diced mushrooms, garlic, and ginger. Season with sea salt and fresh ground pepper.
The ginger adds a slight spice to the sauce.
