Starbucks. Being a giant in the industry can have back lash. By providing even part time employees with benefits, this sends the message that they care about their workers. Money spent here is better than any advertising.

1. Work. The franchise owner needs to start working at the cashier. This shows the community that the owner is taking responsibility. Their role is to answer questions and ensure that the food is safe.
2. Incentives. Management often hires bad people without detecting it in the interview process. The franchise owner needs to take charge and reach deep into their pockets.

3. Communicate. When customers ask about the situation, don’t give a statement from corporate. Instead, try a personal message.
“Hi, I’m Bob, the owner. For the first time in my life, I am embarrassed. We made a mistake and fired everyone involved with the situation. Our food is safe, I had a few Whoppers this morning.”
4!Eat. Throughout the day, have the owner and workers eat the food in front of the customer. If the owner is eating the food, then it portrays the image that it must be safe.
Comeback. Jack In the Box served tainted meat around ten years ago and now they have earned their consumer trust with jovial ads. The key thing is to respond quicky.
